The mission of Nicole's House is to oppose homelessness by providing housing assistance and a range of holistic services to homeless families to equip them to become independent, productive members of the community.
Nicole's House is a faith-based, non-profit organization founded by Danielle Nicole Foltz in 2014 and incorporated in 2017. Our founder has over 12 years experience providing homeless services in Illinois and Washington, D.C. She also has a Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work.
Due to the overwhelming prevalence of homeless and displacement in the Maryland region, and the disproportionate amount of housing programs for families, this agency was birthed as a means to meet the needs of women and children in need of emergency and transitional housing.
Nicole's House is currently seeking start-up funding for the purchase of a multipurpose facility to house families, as well as funding for programming and staffing.
To facilitate the movement to permanent housing of families who are experiencing homelessness by providing shelter and other services that may include counseling/case management, vocational training, and referrals to outside agencies.
